Hi, I'm Martin, a graphic designer who has helped small businesses and large organisations solve their design needs over the last thirty years.
I would describe myself as a person who has been in the industry for a long time but is still full of ideas, culturally open, and politically engaged.
Before the internet, I designed CD covers and created publicity for EMI Classics. In addition, I created complete branding for major exhibitions at The Hayward Gallery and music festivals at the South Bank Centre and designed covers for Penguin Books.
After the internet, I ran a web design and development company with friends in the heart of London for fourteen years. I designed identities and websites for small to medium-sized companies that needed a simple brochure site, through to full e-commerce and multi-functional sites for BP, The Economist, Asset value investors, and high-end fashion outlets.
After London, I worked in Bangalore, India, primarily on two projects for six months. First, I helped Textmercato, a written content provider for multi-nationals, design their back-end that organised the user's workflow and detailed structured information in a user-friendly way.
Second, I created over thirty complicated infographics that helped fitness instructors understand the human body and how it works for a company called Cult.fit. This fitness company has centres in all major cities in India.
Now I'm based in the lovely city of Bristol, bringing my unique design style to a broad range of clients across both print and digital platforms.
